It's a bit of a mess in there I have discovered. There are multiple commits that appear to be identical. There are commits with the wrong author.

It's time to sit down and rebase the whole lot. This will be time-consuming but should let me end up with a much smaller repository as I will be able to remove accidental commits of large binary files.
